In summary, results from experiments carried out in our laboratory
indicate that the altered levels of at least two of the enzymes, tyrosine
hydroxylase, and dopamine beta-hydroxylase and the catecholamine neuro-
transmitters, dopamine and norepinephrine, could have been changed as a
result of the effect of ethanol on adenylate cyclase activity. This
possibility demands a detailed study of the AC system.
