Design Write recommends a four-wave mail campaign sent out at four week intervals
promoting the National Consensus findings and the greater need for earlier, longer, and
more aggressive use of hormonal interventions than are currently being used. We will
develop a four-page, two-color personalized letter/visual for mailing to the target
audience.
For the purpose of this proposal, we will estimate an audience of 50,000 high potential
physicians. Wyeth-Ayerst will supply the physician mailing lists.

SPEAKER SYMPOSIA AT CONVENTIONS
As part of the overall communications strategy, Design Write will research and identify
the key medical/scientific meetings at which Premarin/HRT data should be presented
including U.S. national and regional meetings. Details of meetings that are relevant to the
publications program will be presented, along with quantitative information on meeting
dates, number of attendees, location abstract, and poster submission deadlines.
Design Write would provide a full range of meeting-related services, from faculty
management through the production of printed materials. A great emphasis is placed on
the scientific components of meetings, including program development and refinement,
faculty liaison, and the development of materials for use both at the meeting and for
instruction following the meeting. Examples include newsletters, conference highlights,
program abstract bulletin, slide lecture kits, and proceedings publications. Much of this
information can be repackaged as part of an ongoing sales training effort.
Wyeth-Ayerst will provide Design Write with a list of key medical conventions that
require attendance.
