GENERAL INFORMATION
The American Public Health Association wel-
comes you to the National Conference on Food
Protection. This conference represents the coop-
erative efforts of many dedicated individuals over
a period of six years, and it is financed through a
contract with the Public Health Service, Food and
Drug Administration, DHEW. We also wish to
acknowledge the cooperation of the U. S. Depart-
ment of Agriculture, and the many cooperating
universities and professional associations.
WORKSHOP SESSIONS
Each of the ten separate workshops will discuss
and prepare a revision of its assigned position
paper and action plan. The revisions should be
completed by Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Each work-
shop will have its own chairman and reporter to
record the specifics of changes in position papers
and action plans.
Your badge number identifies your workshop
assignment. All Workshops No. 1 through No. 6
are on the Mezzanine floor, and Workshops No. 7
through No. 10 are on the first level. Workshop
rooms are listed on the Monday program.
CONFERENCE AND PRESS HEADQUARTERS
Conference press room and Conference head-
quarters are in Rooms 508 and 509 respectively.
CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
The proceedings of the conference will be pre-
pared and submitted to the U. S. Food and Drug
Administration for reproduction and distribution
to interested parties.
